This salad and zucchini hummus is one of our favorite foods to help harmonize hormones and ovulation.
The zucchini hummus contains tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and cumin. Tahini is rich in essential fatty acids, magnesium and contains thiamine, iron and calcium - all critical for egg health. Cumin is a culinary herb widely used in traditional medicines and is featured in ethnic cooking - often foods from Latin America, India, North Africa and the Middle East. Cumin increases digestion (helpful for absorption of micronutrients), is high in iron, works as an antioxidant and helps control blood sugar. The zucchini hummus and salad is loaded with hormone regulating fiber. Once you taste this- we are sure it will be on your favorite salad list! Enjoy and know you are eating foods that increase your micronutrient density and help your egg health!
